| Set-building: 11th-13th Dec We hope you can come along to lend a hand at our imminent set-build: Friday 11th December (5pm-8.30pm), Saturday 12th December (9am-8pm) and Sunday 13th December (9am-4pm). This time there’ll be plenty to paint. As always, we’ll also need some help clearing up from 2.30pm on Sunday. And if anyone feels they could offer a crèche for a short time (to allow other parents to come to the set build), please let us know!

Deadline for local Drama Award nominations Do you know anyone in Royston & the surrounding area who has been particularly impressive this year in their services to drama? (They don’t have to be linked in any way to CADS). Whether it be for their acting, or for their role behind the scenes, you should nominate them for one of our annual awards! Each year, CADS has the privilege of choosing the winners for 2 drama awards: one under-18, and one 18-and-over. All you have to do is nominate someone by submitting your reasoning in writing to [email protected]. The deadline is: 15th January 2016.
Royston Arts Festival 2016 The next festival's dates will be 22-24 September 2016 (just the one weekend this time), and its theme will be “Carnival”. Please get your thinking caps on: would anyone like to put on a show? If you have any ideas, please get in touch with a member of the committee.
Documentary in the making A CADS member, Donika Jordan, is embarking on a project to make a documentary about CADS. The documentary will focus on the history of CADS - from its founding to the present day. If you have suggestions about former members who should be interviewed and/or you'd like to help in the making of the documentary in any way, please e-mail Donika directly at [email protected].
