| Play-Reading
Our next play-reading will take place on Tuesday 21st March at Emma Daintrey's home. Please confirm your attendance in advance by contacting Emma by 20th March, and to get directions.
Please arrive around 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start - and bring anything you'd like to drink!
We'll be reading a radio play called "Romance is dead" by Ben Lewis, described as a "charmingly quirky comedy drama about an unwilling psychic", which Emma is currently adapting for stage performance.
Note that these meetings are not auditions - the group is open to absolutely anyone and you don't need to be a CADS member or have any previous acting experience.
AGM
The 2017 CADS AGM will be held on Monday 27th March in the Oak Room at the Old Bull pub in Royston: 7.30pm for a 8.00pm start - giving you time to grab a drink from the bar first.
Remember that the whole committee is up for re-election every year as per the club's constitution, so if you'd like to join the committee then you can offer yourself up for any position during the meeting. This year the Secretary and Chair will not be standing for re-election so we will definitely need candidates for these roles!
All are welcome at this open meeting, but only paid-up CADS members can vote on any motions, including elections to the committee.
CADS Membership Subscriptions due!
All CADS membership subscriptions are due before the AGM on 27th March 2017. You can pay by cheque/cash to the treasurer, or by online bank transfer to 'CADS' using sort code 40-39-22 and account number 91389149. Alternatively (though less preferable), you can use the 'Donate' button on the CADS homepage, and confirm this to the CADS Secretary or treasurer by email. |
