Abigail's Party updates
Auditions for Abigail's Party were held on April 28th and the cast is now listed on our website. The directors are now putting together a production team, so if you have not already expressed interest, but would like to be involved, please e-mail the CADS Secretary. Finally, set build dates have been confirmed as Friday evening 8th July and Saturday 9th July. We hope many of you will come along to help us build an amazing 70s set.
Play-reading group
Our next meeting takes place on Wednesday 11th May as part of Royston's Voluntary Arts Week; it'll be led once again by Michael Young and once again it's a comedy - this time, Ghost Writer by the hilarious David Tristram. (Remember Forget-me-knot at the Arts Festival in 2008? How could you not!). This one is not to be confused with the one-acter of the same name by Nick Warburton which some of you may remember us performing back in 2007, and which featured the ghost of the Bard, although this one has - appropriately for the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death - definite nods to Hamlet; we'll say no more!
Panto 2017 update
Sadly for CADS, Craig Maddox has taken up an exciting new career direction that will mean missing out on directing our next panto. We, of course, wish him all the best in his endeavours.
We are pleased and excited to announce that Kathy Young has now offered to direct Little Red Riding Hood - last performed by CADS way back in 1998. More news will follow in the weeks and months to come, but if you'd like to take on any of the production roles, please do get in touch.

Congratulations to Claire Hogan for multiple Best Actress nominations during this Spring’s drama festival season, and good luck for Welwyn!
